NEW MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE

OUR FOCUS
The goal, vision and objectives of the new naija club remains the same :to raise a Critical mass of 5 million Nigerians who will be involved actively in nation building, of which we have 1,000,000 membership as our target within the first year.

OVERVIEW
The new structure of membership in the New Naija Club is weighed against the backdrop of series of changes and events that have taken place within the club in recent times, these changes include the re-design, re-packaging and upgrading of the club’s website, introduction of the New Naija Club Co-operative and Investment Club as well as a review the annual membership fee.

WHY THE NEW STRUCTURE?
The introduction of the N10,000 and less membership fee aims to afford the average Nigerian the opportunity to take part in the Nation building, visibly contributing his quota while also helping the club achieve its target of 1,000,000 in one year.

The new membership structure will further facilitate our membership growth strategy. It will create healthy atmosphere of competition amongst members (positive peer pressure), thereby encouraging participation in nation building program's and events being organized by the club.

NNC PASSPORT
Introduction of the NNC Passport
The NNC passport will bear the color theme and logo of the club.
It will contain a log-in page which will be used in recording members attendance and participation in the club`s activities and will ultimately be useful in measuring their rise through the different levels of membership.

CRITERIA FOR RISING THROUGH THE NNC LEVELS
Every new NNC member starts from the bronze level and their movement through the different categories is dependent on:

CRITERION FOR BRONZE LEVEL I
Basic Membership

CRITERIA FOR BRONZE LEVEL 2
Forum Participation: To rise to bronze level 2, members are required to participate actively on the NNC Forum. Within 6 Months, they should have created at least 1o threads and generated/attracted at least 20 comments per thread.

NNC Signups: A minimum of 50 signups into the club by members within a year is also required.

CRITERIA FOR SILVER LEVEL 1
Deals Creation: Required to move to the next level is the creation and upload of at least 5 deals.
Tribe Activities: Active participation in at least 5 tribe events within the year is also a criterion.

CRITERIA FOR SILVER LEVEL 2
Forum Participation: Members of this category are required to participate actively on the NNC Forum. In the course of the club year, they should have created at least 30 threads and generated/attracted at least 20 comments per thread.

NNC Sign ups: Any member looking at climbing up to the next level should have at least 300 signups through or under them, within one year.

Meeting Attendance: must attend at least 5 NNC meetings within a year.

CRITERIA FOR THE GOLD CATEGORY
NNC Representative(Within and outside Lagos):
Such a member is to organize monthly NNC meetings and updates.
Ensure current and fresh members get their ID cards upon 2 weeks latest of request.
Ensure the presence and participation of NNC members in their communities are present for meetings.
Responsibility for members welfare and ensure NNC presence at NNC member’s occasions i.e. Weddings, Funerals, Christening etc.
NNC Pioneer: Responsible for inauguration of NNC in a virgin community.
Personal Projects: this includes the creation, source funding and management of 2 major projects in the year.

CRITERIA FOR PLATINUM CATEGORY
For the financial aspect, attaining platinum is not automatic even though it’s financially based. Individuals will be appointed into the platinum category based on their integrity and strength of character. The decision will be made by the board of advisors. This is to avoid having as platinum members, people who got their money through dishonest means.

For physical participation, members in the Gold category who have performed outstandingly well will also be appointed as Platinum members, also to be decided by the board of advisors.

Gold Category- Medal or Plaque (Gold), and a well deserved gift.
Platinum Category- Medal or Plaque and a well deserved gift.

NNC MEETINGS
Date and Time of NNC meetings and activities would be communicated to members via text messages or e-mail.
Meetings will be held once a month (last Sunday of every month). The meetings will include updates and brainstorming sessions on way forward.
NNC Tribe activities: There will be at least one tribe activity monthly.
